Our beautiful RV Park is a new build with an eventful history. During the Vietnam War, a mobile home park was located on the property. As the Conflict came to an end, park residents moved away, the property was sold and an auto body shop was built.
After the auto body shop moved to another location, the property was again sold and a plumbing and electrical business came to fruition. In 2022 the plumbing and electric business shut down and the need for affordable accommodations began growing in the area. The property owner decided to clear the land and begin construction of the Wiregrass RV Park and Campground in 2022. The goal is and has always been to provide a clean, comfortable, and quiet area for travelers and guests.
In May of 2024, the park was ready to open for business. The official ribbon cutting and grand opening was on May 23, 2024. We are ready to welcome guests and invite all to come stay with us.
